The way our hair looks can work in our favor or it can work against us, it all depends on how we treat it and how we choose to fuel our body.

If you ask most of the men out there what makes a woman sensual and seductive, among the obvious curves and boobs answer, they will say “the hair”. It doesn’t have to be long, curly or have a particular shade, but it has to be soft, shiny and flowy in order to catch the eye and make the guys day-dream about all the things that they would do to you.

Our hair wears all the traces of our dietary habits, it’s like a map of what we eat, because the things that we choose as source of fuel for our body, are leaving a visible track on the health of our hair.

Good food choices are paving our road to reaching all our hair goals, just pay extra attention to the food that contains the nutrients that your hair is craving for and make sure you include them into your diet.

  1. Biotin

Our body already produces biotin, but we can lend a hand in this entire process by adding some biotin-rich foods into our daily diet plan. Here are a few of the products rich in biotin, that can boost the health of our hair: avocado, eggs and almonds.

  1. Folate and Iron

Those are the two major nutrients that help create red blood cells, the ones responsible for carrying oxygen to the scalp and to follicles, this way promoting hair growth. In this case, the wonder ingredients that brings extra folate and iron into your body is spinach.

  1. Vitamin C

This amazing vitamin is used in the collagen making process, a fiber that helps maintain our hair follicles healthy. For extra vitamin C in your body, eat oranges or other citric fruits and vegetables such as bell peppers.

  1. Zinc

Zinc is extremely important for our body’s immunity, and it also promotes hair tissue growth, so get your daily zinc dose by eating shellfish.

  1. Protein

The structure of the hair is provided by a protein called keratin, and a deficiency of keratin leads to weak and thin hair. A good source of protein are lentils, soybeans, and meat such as pork and chicken.
