The Right Neighbourhood for Escorting

02.10.14

While you have significant control over the decor of your incall space, there’s a little less to be said about the neighbourhood you choose to work from. You can easily choose outcall locations depending on their relative discretion, positioning and by the services they offer. And, depending on your clients, provide the optimum space for them to relax and take advantage of their meeting with you. However, when you work from your own apartment, the location could easily influence your clients and that influence is something that’s not necessarily in your control.

If you work from a separate apartment from the one where you live (which is something we would advise), then bear in mind the address. Certain streets have certain connotations, and, whichever your escort persona, you’ll want to steer clear of the negative ones. You don’t want to work on the same street as your local street walkers since you cater to a completely different group of clients. Seeing street walkers might even make your customers uncomfortable, leading them to think that you yourself aren’t as elite as you advertise to be.

There are a couple of things we recommend you look at before moving forward with renting a place:

1. The neighbourhood itself – Think about your clients, and where you would see them go to. The neighbourhood where you work should not make them feel strange or uncomfortable. If you can afford it, pick a posh area. However, if you’d prefer to opt for a more low-key region of town, go for the artist hub, but bear in mind that many such areas become gentrified quickly and you could easily find yourself paying the double amount of rent in a relatively short while.

2. The coffeeshop – does your desired area have a coffee or tea shop nearby? Maybe even a small, intimate pub or restaurant. Sometimes it’s better if you meet up with prospective clients close to your apartment, but without offering them the address immediately. This way you can build a rapport, check them out, and maintain your privacy. If everything goes according to plan, however, you can quickly move to business if you live close by.

3. Transportation and Parking Areas – Do you work in a crowded city? If so, then you have to consider whether your future apartment is close to a metro station or other public transportation options. While many clients will certainly opt to use a taxi, some might want to avoid rush hour by using the subway. Alternatively, make sure your clients have somewhere to park. Many new customers already come to the encounter nervous, so you don’t want to add to that nervousness by having them park two blocks away.

4. Building Security – Security is crucial in this business, especially if you’ll have people walking back and forth to your apartment. Get friendly with the guard, give them a nice Christmas bonus, and they’ll surely help you out with whatever you might need, even if it’s just maintaining your privacy. And see what you can do to keep your name off the apartment directory, particularly if you go by a different name with your clients. You don’t want everyone finding out your real identity

Of course, when you advertise your services, you won’t be giving your address. However, you can describe the area in vivid detail, and ‘downtown luxury studio’ sounds extremely enticing!
