The Face Wash Routine your Need to Try

The title might baffle you, because you are inclined to think that yes, everyone knows how to wash their own faces from the age of 5. But the reality is that most of us actually don’t know how to correctly wash their faces, tend to use dangerous skin products, apply them in the wrong order or in the wrong amount.

When your appearance is your business card, having a healthy skin is top priority. As an escort you most certain apply heavy makeup daily and that leads to clogged pores, a skin that produces too much sebum or on the contrary, tends to be extremely dry and flaky, and an overall tired look.

And this is clearly the opposite of the fresh look  you want to achieve. That’s why this article will come in handy if you want to have a healthy and clean look.

No matter your skin type, it is recommended to wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and the second time when you prepare to end the day and go to bed.

  1. Do a double face wash.

Your pores are all clogged up due to the product you’re wearing throughout the day, so start by removing the makeup by doing a double wash – first remove the makeup around the eyes with a cotton swab and micellar water, then use a mild cleaning product for your entire face.

  1. Use a gentle scrub.

Do not use scrubs with a harsh texture and do not scrub intensively like you do when you remove dirt from your dishes, because you will remove all the natural, healthy, protective oils that your skin produces. Instead, apply on your fingertips a small amount of scrub and gently massage your face for one minute to remove dead skin cells and clear your pores. Look for products with salicylic acid, lactic acid, or fruit enzymes.

  1. Gently pat your face with a clean towel.

Remove the water off your face by using a soft, antimicrobial towel, because the water that stays on your face could lead to excess dryness.

  1. Apply toner on your T zone.

Use a toner that has chamomile, rose water and salicylic acid, to reset your skin PH and calm your face. Apply some toner on a cotton swab and tap it gently on your T zone.

  1. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

End your daily routine with a moisturizer, to keep your face moist and hydrated. Choose the moisturizer fit for your skin type and never end your face-washing routine without applying the right facial moisturizer for you. When doing this routine in the morning, this is the step when you also apply a cream with an SPF factor to keep your skin healthy and away from harmful sunlight.

DO NOT:

  • Use too much product. A small amount of cleanser can perform great, so don’t fall in the “more is better” trap and don’t choose products that are extra foamy because it can be to harsh on your skin and natural oils.
  • Do not use a scrub daily and don’t go for the ones that have a harsh texture.
  • Hot water does not open your pores, what it does instead is irritate your skin. The same applies to cold water. Use lukewarm water instead and don’t forget to also wash your neck and cleavage when washing your face.
  • Do not use bars of soap to wash your face because it will lead to extreme dryness of your skin. Also stay away from products that are heavily perfumed.

This is a basic twice a day face cleansing routine that everyone should follow. When you get comfortable with following these basic steps, you can upgrade to using facial serums and eye creams.
