Protect your skin from daily makeup

11.02.22

As an escort, looking in top shape and wearing makeup daily is a must, and it’s what keeps your clients coming back and booking you. Because as we all know, everyone wants to date a fresh-looking woman, all dressed up, smiling and looking impeccable from head to toe.

But what does your skin say about wearing all that makeup on a daily basis? Is your skin happy or is it suffering the effects of heavy makeup?

We can answer that for you: no, your skin is not happy being always covered in foundation, powder and so on. But it can be if you respect a few tips when it comes to the makeup you choose to wear. Because not all makeup is bad and not all makeup ends up clogging your pores and making you look even more tired than you actually are.

You can wear makeup that allows your skin to breath and makes you look radiant in the meantime.

  1. Clean your skin at the end of the day

Most of us believe that using a wet tissue to remove our makeup will do, but that’s not enough. Start with a makeup wipe to remove the first layer of makeup, then use a cotton wipe with makeup removal solution on it, to get rid of the remaining makeup, and as a final step wash your face with a face wash enriched with hydrating formulas.

Always pay extra attention to the area around your eyes as it is more delicate and it requires a special makeup removal solution, that will also leave your eyelashes intact.

  1. The monthly wash

Make a habit out of cleaning your makeup brushes and sponges once a month. Buy a special cleaning gel and stick all your brushes in that special formula meant to remove all traces of makeup that gather bacteria, germs, and dirt.

This way you make sure your skin stays intact, without any rashes or blemishes.

  1. Check the expiration date

Makeup has an expiration date, you know?! And not checking what the expiration date your foundation, serums, powder, mascara and so on, has, you risk of getting an infection or developing an allergy.

Bottles such as foundation, serums, and mascara, once opened gather bacteria and that may lead to serious skin problems. So, next time, instead of using a product till it’s last drop, you may want to look at the expiration date and get rid of all the old makeup products you may have in your cabinet.

  1. SPF is your best friend

To prevent your skin from ageing prematurely or getting unwanted freckles or skin pigmentation on your face, make sure that most of the makeup products you buy, contain SPF protection in them.

Choose a foundation that has an SPF factor, a setting powder with SPF and use a light SPF hydrating cream every day, no matter the season!

  1. Fight-off excess oil

If your skin is oily, you must avoid makeup that has oils among other ingredients. You can also use a cleanser with glycolic acid to reduce the natural oiliness of the skin and apply a sheet-mask once a week.

Try our tips and you will notice some amazing changes in the way that your skin looks and feels. Take care of your skin, as it stays with you forever!
