12 Myths about Female Escorts As Told By Movies Part 2

Last week we introduced you to some of the most popular misconceptions people have about escorts. Many of them are the fault of mainstream movies and their perception about these ladies. But the truth is, female companions are so much different than what the screen makes of them. Of course, some of them don’t know many languages, but they make up for that by being a lot of fun to talk to. Others don’t crack many jokes; even so, they can offer the best advice for whatever difficult situation you go through. Here’s part two of the myths which escorts have to prove false because of movies.

Blow Out and Leaving Las Vegas are only some of the movies where escorts played by famous actresses don’t have a happy ending. Pretty Woman is about the only movie where the leading lady turns her life around and ends up with the man of her dreams. It’s probably the directors’ way of saying that being a service provider for men is a bad thing and you’ll go to hell for doing what you’re doing. Whatever the real reason may be, your character will have a tragic outcome if she's an escort on the silver screen. Most of the real-life female companions we know have stable relationships, enjoy a good life and are generally happy with their profession. There are exceptions, of course, but not as many as you’d think.

No, as much as movies or TV shows may tell you, an escort doesn’t earn big by working in a spa. The ladies who offer intimate massages in The Client List are mega rich; you won’t be, no matter how hard you try. And that’s because hot shots from various companies, Hollywood and so on don’t use spas to get their kicks. If they feel like it, they’ll just call an escort agency and ask for the best service provider money can buy. All of you girls who work in a spa, get out and find something better.

Male escorts “enjoy” the same myths as their female counterparts. Most of the TV series or movies you’ll watch show them as these adventurous guys who go from party to party, drink a lot, do drugs and have sex with every girl they meet. Oh, and they get together with a very wealthy (and much older) woman. From what we at Escort Directory know, male companions don’t do any of these things. They’re classy, well-mannered, discreet and a pleasure to be around. The exceptions you’ll hear about from others will generally become failures later in life.

How many times were you told that escorts are all into various drugs to keep them sane while working? Too many times, that’s for sure. Another misconception, since a lot of the professional female companions we’re familiar with are completely clean and they don’t plan on taking drugs in the near future, if ever. Apart from the fact that it’s illegal to use substances, if a female companions starts to take them, her professional image will suffer.
